Ceramics update

Haven't managed to get back to the ceramics studio for a while due to schools/workshops/home for reading week, but will definitely be in for a day this week to update the guys down there and try and finish off one or two of my pieces.
Here's a few photos I meant to put up last week of my first-fired piece with the Paris etched illustrations,

 The experiments with a rough glazed cup, with 2 different types of fabric soaked in a blue glaze layered over and fired again

 And my first attempt of casting, fixing a handle and manipulating a cup - that looks pretty horrendous - and is made even more so by the random patch of fabric that didn't do a lot in the kiln either!

 I've also had in the post a brochure from Roost living, who supply pretty things like this lot ...
