For our latest send and receive workshop, me and Hannah are going for an animation theme. Hoping to set up a camera/tripod/set with plastacine characters so that the guys on the ward can come along and play around with some stop motion fun.
Ideally I wanted a set up so that we had live footage to a laptop so it's easier to see what we're doing exactly. I have frame thief on my mac, which require a live footage camera rather than a stills camera - which I don't unfortunately have, and I don't really want to take to the hospital if I can help it.
So Matt suggested iStopMotion, being pretty basic and easy to use
(they only offer a 5 day trial.. boooo!)... or Dragon... which looks AMAZING.
they offer a 10 day trial and but only 50 frames per take... which is slightly annoying :( full price is $275 + at least $11 shipping. TYPICAL! why do i have no money :(!!!
