I ♥ Paper!!

This follows on pretty well from the Hoedown from Rodeo animation below, again using paper and books, but this time on a bigger scale and with crazy detail... I absolutely love this, just proves anything's possible if you want it to be.

This Is Where We Live from 4th Estate on Vimeo.

On their Vimeo profile, you can see all the 'making of' timelapse video's, kind of puts it into perspective. You can see size of the sets, the home made dolly and the tediousness (if that's a word?!) of it all. So cool!!!!

Paul showed me this ages ago and I can't remember if I blogged it or not, but it's a website where you can see most videos on youtube frame by frame, just paste the URL into the box and see the magic happen. It's really great for seeing how animations as complex and busy as the one above alters frame by frame. It's useful for seeing how to gauge the movement of models or objects within sequences and how many movements are necessary for different types of motion.
