Video & Animation

I started thinking where I want to start looking, cause video/film/animation, it's a pretty big spectrum...

I'm mainly interested in animation - from those original Disney illustrated films, to the fancier CGI level of animation starting to appear in Toy Story and Monsters Inc, etc.

I'd like to start getting to grips with the process of the animations; how it is achieved; the software, materials and sequences used in creating a film; putting together the images with sound - voices, sound effects, soundtracks; the preparation before you touch a computer; the editing process; the promotional process; creating a trailer ... etc etc ...

I'm just thinking of things off the top of my head, I could carry on, instead I'm just going to start exploring it all, every last drop.
