Communication Technology

New brief, new year, new start. That's my thinking..

I enjoyed the last brief much more than the first because I started to get much more involved and optimistic about what I could achieve, because I started to want to achieve more.

So this time round, I'm taking another step up and taking my thoughts into action and plan to make the most of what I research, plan and experiment with. And considering my reassuring attitude, this latest brief is perfect.

Research, explore and document your relationship with communication technology.

On first impressions, with minimal thought, I want to explore photography further, and improve my current skills and knowledge. I'd like to understand the literal basics as well as I can. I can just about grasp the relationships between aperture, shutter speed and work a digital camera, but I want to really be able to understand it all, and then use it to expand the work that I am able to produce.

I'm also interested in developing new stills, I'm always more than happy to learn something new - so I'm thinking something involving video - maybe filming and editing, maybe to music? or creating a scene? get involved with some musicians or some drama kids? I know plenty around!

Or maybe take another edge on it all and try my hand at some animation, either illustrated, or 3-d, I don't even know the technical name for it I'm that clueless! Wallace and Gromit style is what I'm getting at!

Christian said be adventurous, which is what I plan to do!
