I was slightly confused by the title of 'visualisation and illustration' they should take illustration out of the title for next years hopefuls so they aren't let down like i feel i was.
I can appreciate the alternative way of working and presenting work, but i felt quite frustrated at times, maybe I'm just being stubborn. But if I am being completely honest. I didn't enjoy myself, or at least not as much as I hoped I would.
Rant over...
Comm Tech is finished - thank god.
That dragged on FAR too long. but I refuse to rant about that anymore, it will probably get me angry. Again!!
As mentioned in my comm tech blog, I now have youtube and flickr accounts set up, please feel free to nosey, but sorry if they aren't updated very often, it depends what I'm working on as to what gets put up there!
I'm now working on my design for audiences brief, which is going surprisingly well. I'm feeling much more relaxed rather than stressing if I have done enough work or whatever else I normally find to worry about. It's a nice feeling :)
My brief is focusing on student's loyalty to branding since moving to university. originally I was unsure of the direction to follow for a piece to present to my audience - a photographic/text based documentary of some sort perhaps through a website or a book? a short video or a poster?
Through group crits and talking with my audience I realise a positive route to take is a photographic documentary of students who love their brands and have stayed loyal to them since being at university - presented through a selection of images, possibly including text.
I'll post some images up here with more info once I get them underway this weekend.
But I think that'll do for now on the update front :)
