Personally, I LOVE IT.
I do love a good dance... and this is EXTREME! Apparently, it's
a new way for 'teens to express themselves through movement'.
I took a little look at some more videos and continued to
research this a bit more;
It's also known as "tck","electro dance" "vertigo" and "Milky
Way". It apparently started to catch on in 2007 at the club
Metropolis, Paris, by Hussein Ezzo and a few more dancers. It's not just the outrageous mix of late 80s vogue, 90s waving
and old-school breakdancing, but a whole look and style to go
crazy about as well...
TeckTonik is now a registered trademark, and the brand now
sells official products including CDs, clothes and energy drinks.
I may not go as far as busting these moves out in Leeds,
or go sporting the style.. but it's definitely a movement I
think will catch on worldwide..
