Curleycakes?

Previously stamped my cards 'curleycakes' ... thought it had a nice ring to it... as my work is coming to feature cakes less and less, and although it's quite cute and girly, I need to consider a more professional approach... as boring as it is, I think my name will be sufficient. (I say boring, I've heard all the jokes along the way on the 'curley' surname...)

So from now on, my cards will be stamped with a simple, 'handmade for you by Jodie Curley' and the month and year made. As I'm starting to build a collection, I might decide on screen printing my name again, but for now I'll stick to a really hand finished feel to my work and round off each card with a handwritten scribble on the back - personal for each card.

Over the next few weeks there's a few things on my list I want to get underway...
Handmade 4 the Christmas Special, is on the 5th December at the Brudnell Club, I've got a stall for my cards, little books and possibly some other handmade bits if I can get round to making them too.
I found out a few days after the confirmation of my table, that the Reetsweet craft fair returns to the Corn Exchange the same Sunday, so I'm a bit gutted I didn't get in there as I think it'll have a better audience turn out being in the city centre, and less student-orientated and more general craft enthusiasts who'll pay and buy more. Never mind! I'll do my best at Handmade and my sales will hopefully reflect a successful reception of my work.
