Collections.... ideas!!

So whilst brainstorming the collections brief and ideas about the YCN brief, I started thinking about children, their imagination - what is imagination and how to encourage children to use it. There were a few websites I stumbled across with some good pointers...
A couple of articles regarding children, the importance of animaton and ways to encourage it...

The Imagination Factory - an award winning art and crafts site for kids, parents and teachers

Yeondoo Jung - Wonderland
Her series of photographs are based on recreations of children's illustrations. Such a brilliant concept!!! And the photos are just adorable...

From this starting point I started to consider ways of tackling the brief, as suggested by Christian.. first think through the most obvious ... and then try looking at the most radical.

Most obvious ideas would be objects morphing into other objects or random things like animals or characters... imaginary friends.

Then maybe looking a little more radical, things on a bigger scale could start to become animated... buildings, complete rooms or scenery... perhaps the children themselves? ...... head's starting to tick... this is all good :) :)
