Animation + Sound

I originally had plans to animate to sound; a small mountain I wanted to tackle as part of my exploration of animation. Unfortunately, it's proving harder that I first anticipated. I'm trying to create animations of a walk cycle to add footstep sounds, and finding it pretty damn tedious and reaaaally annoying!!!
I'll post up the attempts I've made so far on vimeo once it starts working, (I'm not sure if it's me uploading something wrong, or if there's issues with the site as logins were disabled yesterday as well). But the lack of a walk cycle to work with is proving difficult to add sounds to - so I'll finish up on my walk cycle attempts and move on to something else on my list of things to do... then see if sound can come into those :)

If I don't manage to cover animation and sounds over the next 2 weeks, then I won't get upset about it for not squeezing it in.. it will be on my list of things to follow up on throughout the year with my new found love for animation :)
