This was another play around with other objects moving around, multiple objects all at once proves more of an issue - you forget which you have moved and which you haven't, so some move faster than others. It's a good practice I think ...
I think we also realised the importance of lighting, as well as the positioning of the camera in relation to the 'set' - notice how Paul's moving in the background? He was helping block out the light from the door to the studio, but he also moves himself - I do like the effect though, it again shows the process of the animation, that movement - or the illusion of it at least.
I think I want to try and focus on getting the frames per second right, so it almost looks like a jerky video rather than an actual stop frame animation. I need to start off with something simple, just one object moving, maybe a ball rolling or something like that? Take plenty of photos and master the art of that illusion of movement.
