Video.

I've not really pushed myself when it comes to video.. I think it's because I'm too worried it won't be good enough for everyone else to see. So when we were deciding what to do for the major project last year, I didn't fancy a video because for a period of time, everyone's attention is directly on your work, and they can instantly decide how brilliant or how awfully crap it is. That pressure scares me a little, as you see everyone's instant reaction.

So.

This year, I want to make sure I do all the possible and challenge the impossible.. I've started opening my eyes up more to ads on the tv and browsing youtube for some inspirations...

Here's a video I came across.. It's bizzare, it's confusing but again, it got me hooked, and I needed to watch it til the end to find out what the hell it's all about and what's going on, (i'll pre-warn you, you don't find out.)
The editing is sharp, the typography is just spot on and the whole thing just makes me want to get experimenting with some cameras now.

(You might have to click on the video and watch at youtube as the screen's cut short?!)

The video was used as an intro to the film festival, Offf - Internation
Festival for the Post-Digital Creation Culture- and lists all the featured
attending 'artists'.

Just take 30 seconds to click on that link and look at the beautiful
picture of Paris, where their 2010 festival is being held.. then go
take a gander at the 2009 festival site, which was held in Portugal.
