If I'm being completely honest here, I was quite annoyed that we had our first photography workshop so early on to go and take photographs - when a lot of people weren't sure on the direction they were going in or what they wanted to do.. me in particular.
So when it came to finally printing some photographs out, I found very few if any of my photographs were relevant to my project.
I guess this couldn't really be helped, but still it annoyed me.. and then to top things off, there was a really rude woman that came along into the dark room and helped herself to my workstation, moved all my stuff to the next booth and denied it all... and then told me to move!!
Was not having a good day.
Rant over.
From the photographs I did manage to print in my rather foul mood, I picked out one shot of the Leeds City Museum, and another of an old street lamp just outside the museum in Millennium Square.

I then tried to experiment a little by creating an aged, distressed feel to the image of the street light, and attempt to show a reflective time - suggesting the idea of looking back on the past. This loosely links in with my Victorian Arcades, as a reference to the history of Leeds.
The photographs below were created by moving the photographic paper a little during exposure time to give a blurred and slightly scattered image. These two were my favourites of a selection of 6 or 7 prints, surprisingly they developed exactly how I was hoping for.
